I'm reading again!

I have been reading throughout the school year, but not keeping up with the blog! Sorry about that. I've started on next years NTB books. So far I have read: Be a Perfect Person in Just Three Days by Stephen Manes, Dirty Little Secrets by C. J. Omololu and Dragonfly  by Julia Golding. In Be a Perfect Person in Just Three Days Milo tries to see if he follows the directions from the book which fell on his head are true or not. Dirty Little Secrets deals with hoarding. Lucy is fed up with her mothers hoarding and her older brother and sister are no help. What should she do when something unexpected occurs? Dragonfly is full of adventure and compromise in order for alliances to be made to defeat a ruthless ruler.

Bull Rider

All Cam wants to do is skateboard even though his older brother Ben and grandfather are bull riders. Everything changes though when Ben is injuried in Iraq. Money is tight for the family and Cam rides his first bull to help his brother heal. His mom does not like it or his best friend. Cam has the opportunity to win some money which would help set up Ben in a business, but he has to lie about his age.
