Happy 2010 to you all! It has been restful and peaceful time. I did a little reading during the break. How about you?

I read Jumped by Rita Williams-Garcia. It deals with a girl knowing another girl is going to be jumped by others and whether she should say something or not.

The Maze Runner by James Dashner. What if you were part of a game of survival with others watching what was going on and having some control over events? What would you do?

The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han. Two families who have spent many summers together at the beach, but this summer, which may be the last one they enjoy together has different events for each to deal with individually and with others.
